The Salati river used to run deep and wide through this very hot area and there were great trees on its banks. The shadows it cast brought real relieve from the heat and still air. Wonderful fishing and holidays spend around this river
The colour of the bush in wintertime is the colour of dry grass and this soft colour is dominant in this painting
